According to its website, the event involves “a group of passionate enthusiasts…for a weekend of camaraderie, cars, cocktails, and conversations. A stunning roster of classic vehicles fill the show field.”
News 12 caught up with Philip Richter, the event’s founder.
“It’s a very highly impactful organization. We had 13,000 kids through our doors, we teach them rules of the road and basic things,” says Richter.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pray Family Foundation- a group that helps young people in honor of the late, beloved car collector Malcolm Pray.
Richter told News 12 that more than 100 cars will be on display starting Sunday morning. More information can be found on the Turtle Invitational website.
