STORM WATCH: Decent summer weather today; Strong storms possible Tuesday

A stray shower cannot be ruled out this afternoon and evening, but most of today is dry, warm and noticeably humid with varying amounts of clouds and breaks of sun ahead of tomorrow's gusty thunderstorm chance.

It is going to be a nice week of summer weather overall, but a few scattered strong thunderstorms can impact your outdoor plans tomorrow afternoon and evening!
There will not be full sunshine today, but there will be breaks of sun throughout the day with high temperatures around 89 degrees. Humidity levels will be moderate.
You will feel the humidity increase more overnight tonight and through tomorrow. With that, there can be a passing downpour or brief thunderstorm from around midnight through 5 a.m. Tuesday. Then, the rest of the morning through early afternoon is overall fine tomorrow. It will be hot and humid though.
There can be a pop-up shower or downpour any time after 1 p.m. tomorrow, but the threat for stronger thunderstorms will be towards the evening commute and through around 10 p.m. Any storm can produce heavy downpours and potentially damaging wind gusts. Not everyone will get a thunderstorm tomorrow, but the News 12 Storm Watch Team will have you updated on these scattered thunderstorms on-air, on social media and on the News 12 APP. Please check the News 12 hyperlocal forecast for updates through tomorrow evening.
Beyond that scattered thunderstorm chance tomorrow, most of the rest of the week is quite nice. The only other chance for wet weather will be an isolated shower or thunderstorm on Thursday afternoon and evening.
As of now, the July Fourth holiday continues to look perfect weather-wise and the weekend looks nice overall, too!
Have a great Monday!
