Heat and humidity lead to early-week storms in the Hudson Valley

We have a nice start to the week, but strong storms are possible on Tuesday.

OVERNIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear, with noticeable levels of humidity.

MONDAY: Very warm to hot with humidity still not overbearing but noticeable. Clouds will increase through the afternoon into the night. Overnight, there is a chance for an isolated thunderstorm that will end before sunrise on Tuesday morning.

TUESDAY: More humidity, but surface temperatures will remain the same in the upper 80s, near 90 degrees. We are watching for our next storm chance to begin around the evening commute on Tuesday with isolated to scattered thunderstorm threats.

WEDNESSDAY: Following the passage of a cold front, the storm threat will end on Wednesday. Still very warm, but less humid.

REST OF THE WEEK: The Fourth of July on Friday may be the coolest day of the week with the least amount of humidity.
