An unseasonable warm-up has arrived in Western Connecticut. Temperatures will be at least 20 degrees above normal the next few days. Humidity levels are up too, so the air has a summer-like feel to it.
There is a chance to see a few isolated showers or thunderstorms at times Tuesday and Wednesday. They are not expected to become severe as of Monday night, but gusty winds and downpours are likely for some. The skies will feature sunshine in between. Temperatures will range from the upper 70s along the Long Island Sound to the lower 80s inland.
The heat will eventually wane for the end of the week. There is a chance of some rain Friday and Sunday.
