Human remains found behind strip mall
Human remains were found behind an Orange County strip mall on Tuesday, according to police.
Authorities say the remains were found around 4:45 p.m. inside a trailer parked in a wooded lot off Dolson Avenue. The location is owned by JUHI Realty Corp and is behind a Taco Bell in Middletown.
Investigators say the remains are so old that the person's age and race are hard to tell. They do confirm that the man was about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with graying, brownish-red hair.
He was found wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and work boots. Authorities say he wore a keyring with a flashlight, bottle opener and a keychain with the name "Allison" on it.
An autopsy showed no foul play was involved, according to police.
Police are asking anyone with information about the remains to contact them at 845-343-3151.
