The Bronx waterfront property known as "Fordham Landing" is being marketed as the next residential hot spot in the borough.
The asking price for the parcel of land in the University Heights section is $29 million. The property is just off the Major Deegan Expressway along the Harlem River.
While real estate agent Massey Knakal has high hopes for the property, others believe developing the land seems unpractical.
"There's only one access route to that area... one way in, one way out," said William Francis, of Community Board 7. "I don't think it could handle the transportation needs of a community being placed over there."
According to a spokesperson from the Harlem River Working Group, the area would require developers to install essentials like plumbing and electricity.
