A Bronx native turned professional athlete returned to his home borough to help teach students about the importance of fitness and education.
Former NBA player and St. John's great Felipe Lopez held a clinic at Evander Childs High School as part of the NBA Cares program.
Lopez not only put the young athletes through running drills, but he also took the time to speak with them about the opportunities hard work will afford them.
NBA Cares is visiting schools in all five boroughs in hopes of reaching 500,000 kids leading up to the all-star game in February.
