Dutchess County Sheriff's Office warns residents after bail scam arrest

Elizabeth Taveras and Sade Rosario are being charged with grand larceny.

Another warning has been issued by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office about scammers.
It says two New York City women contacted a Dutchess County resident and claimed to be part of the legal team for one of their relatives.
They asked the victim for $25,000 to bail their loved one out of jail.
Luckily, the victim suspected the scam and contacted the sheriff's office.
Elizabeth Taveras and Sade Rosario are being charged with grand larceny.
