The daughters of the Edgemont woman at the center of the deadliest crash in Metro-North history are speaking out.

Alexa, Julia and Danielle Brody sat down with NBC's Matt Lauer to discuss the tragic event that took their mother.

Ellen Brody was killed when her car got caught on the tracks in Valhalla and was struck by an oncoming train last month.

Five others also died in the accident.

The sisters recalled the night they found out their mother was gone. "Dad drives home and we see, like, two police cars right behind his car. When he came in, he was like, 'She's gone'...I remember that night we all slept together it was hard."
