A convicted cross-burner in new legal trouble appeared before a judge in White Plains Tuesday.

Authorities say 21-year-old Christopher Hudak was considered a threat to President Barack Obama during the U.N. General Assembly last month after he allegedly posted racist rants on the Internet, violating his parole.

Prosecutors say Hudak may have joined a white supremacist group while serving six months in prison for burning a cross in front of a Cortlandt home in 2007.

Officials add that Hudak completed only seven out of 1,000 hours of community service and refused to get counseling.

Hudak's bail had been set at $250,000. He is due back in court Oct. 27.
