A juvenile was arrested after a home burglary in Ramapo on Sunday afternoon. Police said the incident happened on West Carlton Road while the homeowner was inside.

The homeowner went to a neighbor’s house and called 911. When officers arrived, the suspect had already fled.

Investigators later found and arrested the juvenile. Police said the suspect faces burglary and assault charges.

No further details were released because of the suspect’s age. Police said there is no threat to the community.
