Police in Yonkers nabbed 35 people Thursday during a major drug raid in the Nodine Hill section of the city.
The raid is part of Operation Impact, a joint effort between Yonkers police, state police and the Westchester District Attorney's office to cut down on gang violence and drugs. The raid comes 10 months after police made a sweep on the same street. In December of 2005, police collared 76 men and women for allegedly selling drugs. Residents say they are pleased police keep coming back to make sure their neighborhood remains drug free.
Police say more than 100 drug dealers have been arrested since Operation Impact started in 2004.
