A
Dutchess County community and a popular Hudson Valley supermarket are working
to help the Fonda family after their home was gutted in a fire
earlier this week.
Jessica
Scalamaandre and her employer, Adams Fairacre Farms – along with many others –
are doing what they can for a family they say has done so much for everyone
else.
So
far, more than $33,000 has been raised between donations from the farm and a
GoFundMe campaign.
"They
are the most selfless and giving and kind-hearted people,” said Scalamaandre.
“It doesn't matter what color. What race. What background you have. What
troubles you've gone through in your life. There's no judgement. There's always
a seat at their table for you if you need them."
