A longtime northern Westchester County teacher died after being involved in a hit-and-run on Cape Cod.
Wellfleet police say they found 59-year-old Jeffrey Richardson lying on the road with severe head injuries on Monday night.
He died the next day.
Richardson taught music for over 30 years at John Jay High School in Cross River.
There are dozens of public comments from former students mourning him.
