Bedford judge sentenced for driving drunk

A Bedford Town justice has been sentenced after pleading guilty to driving drunk.
As part of his sentence, Erik Jacobsen, 55, must continue in treatment for one year. In addition, his driver's license was revoked for six months, and he has to maintain an ignition interlock device on his vehicles for one year.
Jacobsen was arrested in April of last year on the Saw Mill Parkway in Mount Kisco.
During the incident, county police say he refused to leave his car and had to be Tased. He was relieved indefinitely of all judicial duties after his arrest.
