A man accused of shoving two people on to subway tracks in Manhattan is facing charges for murder, assault and attempted assault.

Officials say Bairon Hernandez, 34, walked past a 30-year-old man on the subway platform and pushed him on March 8.

The victim landed on his knees and sustained an injury to his shoulder.

Hernandez then approached Richard Williams from behind and pushed him into the tracks, according to authorities.

The 83-year-old Air Force veteran suffered a brain bleed and later died of his injuries on March 17.
