New details have been released about a rollover crash that injured two people on Tuesday.

State police say the crash happened around 7 a.m. on I‑95 south near Exit 17 in Mamaroneck.

Police say a sedan stopped on the right shoulder moved back into traffic and crashed into a tractor trailer, causing the truck to roll over.

Troopers say the driver of the sedan, 27‑year‑old Emily Shea Alexander, was taken to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries.

She was issued citations for vehicle and traffic law violations, according to state police.

The driver of the tractor-trailer also suffered minor injuries and was taken to Westchester New‑Rochelle Hospital Medical Center.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the roadway was fully cleared by about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
