Firefighters knock down flames outside Port Chester restaurant; no injuries reported

A flower planter caught fire outside a Port Chester restaurant Sunday morning, but firefighters said the flames were extinguished before they could spread to the building.
The fire broke out outside Rinconcito Salvadoreño on Broad Street. The Port Chester Fire Department said the outdoor planter was burning when crews responded.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames before the building was damaged.
The restaurant has since been boarded up.
No injuries were reported.
