Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

Two smoke shops in Orange County have been raided by state officials for allegedly selling cannabis illegally. The shops, "Puff Puff Pass" and "Soljie's,” both located on Broadway in Newburgh, were targeted in the operation. Signs posted on the windows by the State Office of Cannabis Management indicated that illicit cannabis was seized from the businesses. Officials emphasize that the unlicensed sale of cannabis deprives the government of significant tax revenue.

A man is facing charges after allegedly shooting at a vehicle with a woman and two children inside in Poughkeepsie. The incident occurred on Tuesday in the area of Carroll and Franklin streets. Jonathan Brown has been charged with attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the incident.

New York State Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary in Westchester. The individual broke into the Oakridge Commons Vista Wine and Spirits store in Lewisboro. Descriptions provided by authorities indicate that the suspect was wearing a black ski mask, neon gloves, a burgundy shirt, and a tan jacket.
