Two men are set to spend several years in prison for a $1.7 million smash-and-grab jewelry store robbery that occurred in Hartsdale.

Online court records show that 27-year-old Kevin Williams was sentenced to nearly five years, while 25-year-old Byron Wilson will serve four ½ years.

Authorities say the heist began in December of 2024, when the duo and their co-conspirators drove a stolen vehicle from New Jersey to the Westchester Square Shopping Plaza.

They used a sledgehammer to break into Tarrytown Jewlers and started smashing the merchandise cases. Customers cowered as they snatched jewelry, diamonds and luxury watches.

They fled to their vehicle and returned to New Jersey soon after. Authorities say the suspects photographed themselves holding large stacks of cash just hours after the crime.

The two men were arrested three months later and pleaded guilty to felony charges.
