Bronx community volunteers spent Thursday preparing for the borough's 18th annual Saint Theresa Festival.
Participants can enjoy food, games and rides.  News 12 spoke with organizers who say they start making preparations for the festival months in advance.
One volunteer says it is a packed event every year that brings the community together.
The carnival started at 5 p.m. Thursday on Theresa Avenue in Pelham Bay, with activities throughout the weekend.
