11 years later: Accused Stony Point killer Eugene Palmer remains at large

Sunday marked 11 years since the fatal shooting of Tammy Palmer and start of the search for her father-in-law accused in her killing.

Eugene Palmer, who would now in his 80s, is accused of shooting Tammy outside of her Stony Point home. The elder Palmer was on the infamous "Ten Most Wanted" list since 2018, but was removed in July 2022. Palmer was the oldest person to have been on the list and is still a wanted fugitive.

He's been missing since Sept. 24, 2012 - the day Tammy Palmer was fatally shot.
