An anti-violence group in Yonkers spoke out Friday after a fatal shooting and a stabbing earlier this week.
As News 12 has reported, a man was stabbed on Linden Street and another was shot on Waverly Place on Wednesday.
Members of the Yonkers YMCA SNUG program were on the street Friday afternoon on Park Hill and Waverly Place to rally people against violence.
The program was established to help local law enforcement and anti-violence community groups steer at-risk New Yorkers away from a culture of violence.
