A Yonkers pre-school parent says she has serious concerns about her daughter's safety.
Victoria Feliciano's 3-year-old is in the pre-K-3 program at St. Barnabas Elementary School.
She says there have been multiple incidents where she was mistreated by school staff.
Most recently, Feliciano says she saw her daughter being yelled at by teachers and pulled by her shirt while outside in the play yard.
She says she met with school officials about it, but despite her requests, her daughter has not been moved out of the classroom.
"I was on the verge of tears, just like I am now, because nobody wants to see that. You send your kids to school thinking that they're going to be safe and that these people are going to treat them with care and it's not the case here," she says.
The superintendent's office at the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of New York says they are actively assessing the matter. They say ensuring a safe environment for every student is the top priority.
