Sergeant Jillian Odierno from the Yonkers Police Department has been fostering the spirit of Christmas by spreading joy to those in need.
During her participation in a clothing drive, she encountered a young woman with a two-year-old child who lacked warm winter attire.
Moved by the situation, Sgt. Odierno took it upon herself to purchase a coat, hat, and gloves for the child, Aiden, delivering them to him and his mother.
In a heartfelt message, Sgt. Odierno emphasized the significance of lending support, whether through time, donations, or empathy. Aiden's radiant smile upon receiving the gifts spoke volumes, encapsulating the joy and gratitude sparked by simple acts of kindness.
