Yonkers police officers and firefighters joined crews from New York City, New Jersey and Suffolk County to brainstorm and compare notes about possible terrorist attacks, large-scale disasters and evacuations.
The teams met in Orchard Beach in the Bronx.
While there were no actual drills at the exercise, emergency workers discussed how to support each other in case of a catastrophic event.
Officials say the exercise has been months in planning.
