yesterdayThree apparent overdose incidents in Yonkers may be connected to the same source of fentanyl-laced cocaine, according to Yonkers police.
The three incidents resulted in six victims being taken to local hospitals.
One of those victims died, and another is in grave condition.
Yonkers detectives believe that all the victims may have ingested fentanyl-laced cocaine from a tainted batch.
Community members are advised never to ingest unknown or unprescribed controlled substances, especially illegal street drugs, as the results can be fatal.
