The City of Yonkers is going over its options on whether to rebuild or repair a condemned School Street firehouse.
Both the exterior and the interior of the building are so severely damaged that firefighters had to be relocated.
The city is waiting for a full engineer's report to decide what will happen to the 88-year-old building.
Christina Filmartin, the director of communications for the City of Yonkers, says the fate of the firehouse is still uncertain. Each option will likely cost millions.
The city will likely have to make some changes in the budget before the City Council in order to pay for any short-term repairs.
