Colleagues and Yonkers residents are remembering a fallen firefighter with a memorial outside of Ladder 71.
Firefighter Patrick Joyce, 39, was forced to jump to his death from a third-story window at 148 Waverly St. because of intense heat. One handwritten message at the memorial said, "The city will miss your bravery."
At the wake for Joyce in Bronxville Monday, the fallen firefighter was remembered by hundreds of loved ones as an honorable and selfless man.
Police say 33-year-old Rafael Roldan has admitted to starting the fire in which Joyce was killed.
