Two candidates vying to win the election for Yonkers mayor squared off in a debate that aired live on News 12 Wednesday.
Incumbent Mayor Mike Spano, who is running on the Democratic, Working Families and Women's Equality party lines, is looking for his second term.
Republican and Reform Party candidate Bill Nuckel is the challenger.
They covered a range of topics including development, the economy and local taxes.
Spano also defended the city's use of red light cameras, which he says have reduced side-impact accidents.
Nuckel says he would expand the red light camera program to include speed cameras on Central Park Avenue.
