A Yonkers man has died from injuries suffered when his motorcycle crashed on I-87 yesterday.
State Police say Jason Vanterpool, 37, of Yonkers, crashed into two cars around 3 p.m. in Tuxedo. They say Vanterpool's 2006 Suzuki motorcycle struck the rear of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, then continued northbound where it struck the rear of a 2016 Subaru.
Vanterpool was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ada L. Wright, 68, of Bennington, Vermont, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital to be evaluated.
The driver of the Subaru, Brandon Santiago, 17, of Warwick, was uninjured.
