A TV legend is being honored in his hometown of Yonkers.

The block of Main Street between Riverdale and Hawthorne avenues is now Sid Caesar Way.

Caesar went to Yonkers High School and began his career at a diner that once stood at the corner of Riverdale Avenue and Main Street. He went on to star in TV shows and musicals, most notably 'Your Show of Shows' and 'Caesar's Hour.'

Caesar's daughter says the tribute means a lot. "It's very touching to me. I wish he was here. I wish my mom was here. I look forward to coming back and seeing this," says Karen Caesar.

Sid Caesar passed away earlier this year at the age of 91.
