Members of the Yonkers Fire Department are vying for a spot on next year's calendar, all in the name of a good cause.

Attendees at a Sunday event at the Waterfront Amphitheater voted for their favorite firefighters to be included in the 2025 calendar.

"The top 12 will be put on the calendar," said Kadeem Campbell, a firefighter with Rescue 1. "From there, we'll sell the calendars, and all the money that we raise, all the proceeds, even the shirts that we're selling… everything that's here we'll be putting that toward the scholarship funds so we can send one of our local high school seniors to college."

The calendars will be available for purchase in 2025.
