Yonkers City Hall lit its Christmas tree Monday evening.
The tree can be seen in Washington Park in front of the steps that lead to City Hall.
City Hall staffers and their families were on hand to watch the ceremony. Santa Claus also visited and brought gifts for the children in attendance.
The city's tree lighting will be held Tuesday in Getty Square.
