Yankees GM says he would ‘like to forget’ worst start since 1997
The Yankees are off to their worst start in 24 years.
Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman called it 15 games he would like to forget. The team is 5-10 and in last place in the AL East.
“We're going to do everything in our power to avoid the finger pointing or have frustrations boil over to something negative. We just have to get through it sooner rather than later so we can avoid feeling like we are right now,” he said.
The Yankees host the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday.
