A West Haverstraw woman scratched off a huge win in a state lottery game.
Edwina Silvera, a 49-year-old mother of two, won the top prize of the "$2,500 a Week for Life" scratch-off. Her ticket was purchased at the Railroad Deli in Garnerville.
Silvera says she bought the lucky ticket after having a dream about her father, and she was stunned after she won.
The jackpot has spurred many residents to line up at the deli, hoping to win big themselves.
After taxes, Silvera will take home a little more than $86,000 a year.
