An elderly, non-verbal woman who was brought to a Yonkers hospital last week has been identified.
Police say the 79-year-old woman was found on Warburton Avenue by Empress Ambulance and transported to St. Joseph's Hospital on July 23.
She was identified after a family member spotted her picture on Facebook. They say she wandered away from her home without an ID and fell down. She had been staying with another elderly family member who didn't realize she was missing.
Police are not releasing the woman's name, but says she lives in southwest Yonkers.
She is listed in stable condition.
