A Yorktown Heights woman still has hopes of becoming the next worldwide wresting superstar, despite losing in the final round of USA Network's reality show "Tough Enough" Tuesday night.
Amanda Saccomanno, 25, was one of two female finalists. She had been in Orlando since June, competing for a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
The winner was determined by a fan vote. During the live finale Tuesday night, Saccomanno lost to Sarah Lee, of Michigan.
Despite the loss, Saccomanno's father says he couldn't be more proud.
"This has been unbelievable. I knew she was always talented and has accomplished a lot of things academically, and physically," Rich Saccomanno says.
