Whipping wind gusts are causing scattered power outages across the Hudson Valley.
Con Edison had to restore power to dozens of homes after a lightning strike caused an outage in Hartsdale.
A car also skidded off the road into a ditch due to icy road conditions on Route 684 in Harrison.
A high wind warning was issued for most of the Hudson Valley until 7 p.m. Sunday evening.
