Family members say a Yonkers woman who went looking for her husband after he was late coming home stumbled on the fatal accident scene that took his life Thursday night.Witnesses say Tasheen Jabbour, known as T.J., was driving down Jackson Avenue when he appeared to hesitate before blowing through a red light. According to police, Jabbour?s car collided with an empty, out-of-service bus. The bus driver was not injured.Family members say Jabbour, 51, was on his way home to celebrate his wife?s birthday and had a cake in the car for her. His wife says she knew something was wrong when he failed to appear on time. The wife later stumbled on the accident scene. The victim's brother-in-law expressed disbelief at the news of Jabbour?s death, as did co-workers at the Brazilian restaurant Jabbour managed in Scarsdale.Police say they don?t believe alcohol played a role in the collision. Jabbour leaves behind his wife and two teenage children.
