White supremacist flyers were recently found at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, according to college officials.
Alex Condado, a Mexican-American student, says he was shocked when he saw a tweet from "Identity Evropa" showing what appeared to be a white supremacist sign posted on a bulletin board inside one of the campus buildings.
"We show up here. We work hard. We do everything we can to live a normal life like everyone else does in Westchester or anywhere in the United States,” he says.
“Identity Evropa,” which is mentioned on those signs, has been categorized as a white supremacist group targeting college campuses for the past two years.
The school confirms that those signs were posted and have been removed. “As an educational institution promoting a safe and supportive environment, Westchester Community College has zero tolerance for hate groups and violence,” the school said in a statement.
