Wolf & Warrior Brewing Company in White Plains is debuting its latest pale ale, “Jacob the Warrior,” named after a 12-year-old Jacob Moon of Dobbs Ferry.
Moon suffers from a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disease called Sanfilippo syndrome.
Mike Chiltern, the owner of the Wolf & Warrior, and Bill Moon, Jacob’s father, grew up together in Chappaqua.
Chiltern and Moon collaborated to create the beer named after Jacob last spring.
