NASA recently released a photo of the Kavachi volcano erupting underwater in the Solomon Islands.
The space agency is calling it "sharkcano" because two species of sharks live in the volcano.
A 2015 expedition found the sharks including hammerheads inside of the submerged crater.
NASA says the volcano is one of the most active submarine volcanoes in the Pacific.
Officials say the presence of sharks there has raised questions about the extreme environments large marine animals can call home.
