A 13-year-old Westlake Middle School student has been suspended from school for the rest of the year for hacking into a school Web site.
The student apparently figured out how to get into a Web page reserved for homework assignments and teachers? contracts. The teen is accused of hacking into the site and posting anti-Semitic, anti-gay and other sexual comments directed towards his teacher.
The Mount Pleasant School superintendent says the expulsion stems from a zero tolerance policy. The student also faces charges in family court.
