Employees at the Westchester USPS Distribution Center in West Harrison said they are ready for the holiday shipping rush.

Plant manager Rafael Astacio said they process around 30,000 packages on an average day.

However, during the holiday season, Astacio said that number nearly doubles.

"Everybody knows that around this time of year that we deliver Christmas, so the employees are excited and motivated," Astacio said.
