The Westchester Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on Saturday brought a mobile adoption vehicle to the region.
SPCA members say the van is the first of its kind in Westchester County.
They say it will be used to host events to counter falling adoption rates.
An adoption at the Chappaqua Farmer's Market opening day was the first event.
“We're hoping by having this new mobile adoption vehicle that we can bring many more homeless dogs and cats into the community,” said SPCA Westchester CEO Shannon Laukhuf.
