Westchester County police are investigating whether a love triangle precipitated the attempted murder-suicide by a Yonkers City Jail detention officer last week.
Police released the 911 call Angela Moray made after her husband, Gerard, shot her in the arms and chest and killed himself. Moray, a nurse and EMT, tells the operator during the call that her husband broke both her arms and shot her, forcing her to dial the phone with her nose. She instructed the police to break down the garage door or a window to get into the Cortlandt Manor home.
Meanwhile, police are looking into a possible affair with Angela and County Police Detective Robert Outhouse. Police say she may have asked her husband for a divorce before the violent confrontation. Moray asked the 911 operator twice in the call to contact Outhouse.
Angela Moray is recovering at Westchester Medical Center. A funeral for Gerard Moray was held at St. Mary?s in Yonkers Tuesday.Related Information Autopsy confirms Cortlandt Manor man shot wife, then killed self Police probe possible attempted murder-suicide in Cortlandt Manor
