Westchester legislators passed the county's 2016 budget Monday, restoring many of the controversial cuts proposed by County Executive Rob Astorino.
Two Democrats, including Board Chairman Michael Kaplowitz, crossed party lines to vote with Republicans on the $1.8 billion spending plan.
The budget won't increase the tax levy and restores most of the jobs that were cut as well as funding to many nonprofits.
Democrats who voted against the budget say they did so because it was "fiscally unsound" and could result in an increase of the county's bond rating.
