Westchester County Executive Latimer announced plans for a job fair for formerly incarcerated residents.
He says it is designed to prevent crime by encouraging the formerly incarcerated to stay on the right side of the law.
Westchester’s director of economic development says it will also help businesses who have been struggling to find potential hires.
The
fair will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library.
