Storms moving through the Hudson Valley will bring heavy rain at times and possible flash flooding in some areas.

News 12 Meteorologist Matt Hammer says the worst of the rain will be from late morning into early afternoon.

Hammer says there is a chance of thunderstorms throughout the day.

The rain is expected to clear the region by around 4 p.m., but scattered showers will pop up through the evening and on Saturday and Sunday.

High temperatures are expected around 60 degrees today.
